e-Safety - promoting awareness of Internet Safety

On Tuesday 27th September 2011, our parents were invited to attend an e-Safety awareness evening, led by Mark Sharrott, a Warwickshire ICT advisor who is CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection) trained. This is part of our ongoing work on safeguarding children.

All children in our school are taught our 'Top Tips to stay safe online' and are taught to use online devices safely through our e-Safety curriculum.

All parents are asked to sign an e-Safety agreement form with an attached copy of the 'Top Tips to stay safe online'. These rules are for you to keep at home and support your child’s use of the Internet and other mobile technologies as appropriate.

Why not have a look at some of these e-Safety resources?

The above rules are also available to download. Click on the button below to download a Microsoft Word (.doc) version.

Within our school we also have an e-Safety policy. Click on the button below to download into Microsoft Word.
