The best education is a partnership between home and school. We value the knowledge and skills children develop before starting school and we build upon these.
If as a parent or carer there is anything that concerns you, please come and talk to us.
We are always ready to listen.
Every two weeks, on a Friday, your child will bring home a newsletter to keep you informed as to what is happening in and around our school community. The newsletters are also available to download
from this site, in the Dates / News section.
Each year group has a Parents Noticeboard highlighting key dates, events and notices specific to their area. Parent message boards are available outside each classroom.
Our vision is 'to promote a love of learning that will last through life'. Children through the whole school will receive homework and reading activities to help support the partnership between home and school. Details of homework you should receive are outlined in the Pupil section on this website.
We are always pleased to welcome parents into school either on a regular basis or for occasional assistance. The following are some of the activities in which parents are often involved:
- cookery - maths and science activities
- craft activities - escorting children on visits
- cataloguing library books - making resources
If you would like to help please let the Head Teacher know so that she can contact you when an opening occurs. You will be required to complete police check forms.
