The PTA consists of parents and staff representatives who meet on a voluntary basis usually once every half-term to plan and organise fundraising events. You do not need to come to every meeting, but seeing new faces every now and again would be great!
Our PTA's main objectives are:
> To raise money for school resources such as PE and play equipment,
books and computers.
> To stage enjoyable, fun events which bring children, parents, teachers and
the local community closer together.
> To develop our links with the wider community and raise the profile of the
school and its achievements in the community.
> To provide fun, social gatherings for parents.
> To encourage parents / carers to help their child's school.
Last year Bilton Infant School PTA raised just under £4000 by staging various events such as the Christmas Fayre, Indulgence Evening and Plant Sales. If you think there is anything you can do to help or occasionally lend a hand with the PTA please contact one of our members.
